The Fun Theory

Can something simple and fun change peoples behaviour for the better.

"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others."

Marcus Tullius Cicero106 BC - 43 BC, Politician, Orator and Philosopher

"Every achiever that I have ever met says, 'My life turned around when I began to believe in me.'"

Dr. Robert Schuller Minister and Author

Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that

we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us.

We ask ourselves, ‘who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous.’ Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of god. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of god that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; its in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The Starfish Story

One Day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and

gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked "What are you doing?'.

The youth replied "throwing starfish back into the ocean.

The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them back, they'll die"

"Son," the man said, "don't you realise there is miles and miles of beach and thousands of starfish?

You can't make a difference!"

After listening politely, the youth bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf.

Then, smiling at the man, he said...... " I made a difference to that one."

** Follow your passions, and success will follow you ** Nothing in life is stacked against you in your life except your own thinking ** When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative and acting like the most gigantic idiot on earth ** Many great ideas have been lost because the people who had them could not stand being laughed at ** Every youth owes himself and to the world to make the most possible out of the stuff that is in him ** A man in the sum of his actions, of what he has done, of what he can do, nothing else ** You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is enough! You must take action ** All achievement is the triumph of persistence **
